Valley Fuel Injection is recruiting a Automotive/Diesel Technician for a permanent position located near the McCallum exit on Hwy 1 in Abbotsford, BC. Diesel experience is not required! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is already established in the automotive industry and has a passion for Diesel engines and performance. We are one of the only local shops with an infloor mustang dyno and shop supplied oem scan tools.

Responsibilities:
- General equipment and vehicle repairs
- Diagnose and repair equipment and vehicle deficiencies
- Preventative maintenance services
- Display extensive knowledge about products and services
- Talk with Service Advisor about parts ordering to ensure parts are available, and communicate any time restrictions to customers in timely manner
- Ensure customer vehicle is finished on time
- Maintain shop equipment
- Maintain a clean work area
Accountabilities:
- Maintain a positive image to the customers and the general public
- Ability to plan work and self-direct
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem solve and think for themselves
Qualifications:
Education: level 3 apprentice or higher. Preference given to Journeyman technicians.
Experience and Skill Set:
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Previous automotive diagnostic experience
- Experience with vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Knowledge and experience with electrical systems and schematics
- Knowledge and experience with modern scan tools
- Ability to problem solve and takes pride in their work.
- Diesel experience is preferred but not required
Pay = CA$35.00 - CA$49.00 per hour
