Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments with accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, kitchen workspace, and dining space by following sanitation protocols.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to meet health regulations.
- Assist in restocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and organizing food items for quick service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Kitchen or food industry experience is an asset but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
