Active Mechanical is looking for an experienced Service Plumber to join our growing team. This role focuses on residential and commercial service work, including troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and installations. What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
- Complete service calls efficiently and professionally
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Perform small installations and upgrades as required
- Inspect systems, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions
- Work safely and in compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with other mechanical trades when required
- Maintain accurate job documentation and time records
- Represent Active Mechanical professionally at all job sites
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Service Plumber or in a related trade
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 is an asset)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Clean criminal record (required for site access and customer trust)
- Additional skills such as pipefitting, welding, or basic carpentry are considered assets
