Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for automotive repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the shop.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary during repairs or part replacements.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is required; dealership experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various automotive systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their vehicle issues.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, including assembly and maintenance tasks.
