Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Laborer to join our farm crew. This role involves supporting daily operations, maintaining crop health, and assisting with various technical and manual tasks essential to our farming practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
Duties
- Assist with planting, spraying, and harvesting crops and other day-to-day farm activities.
- Operation of a variety of farm machinery, semi-trucks, and heavy construction equipment.
- Maintain farm equipment and tools, including basic mechanical repairs when necessary.
- Execute assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
- Support with heavy lifting of supplies and equipment as needed.
- Monitor plant health and report any pest or disease issues to supervisors.
- Assist in maintaining farm infrastructure including buildings, shop areas, and drainage systems.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all members of the crew.
Skills
- Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with basic repairs and maintenance of farm and heavy equipment.
- Operational Independence: Proven ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks solo, while knowing when to ask for clarification or assistance.
- Team Collaboration: A positive attitude and the communication skills necessary to work seamlessly with the rest of the crew during high-pressure periods like seeding or harvest.
- Tool Proficiency: Competency with hand and power tools used for equipment maintenance and site repair.
- Precision & Math: Ability to perform calculations related to application rates, measurements, and quantities.
- Physical Stamina: Strength for heavy lifting and the ability to work long hours outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay: $25.00-$37.00 per hour
