Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker or Pyschotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and crisis intervention, with a focus on providing support to individuals and families in need. This role requires a commitment to improving the well-being of clients through effective case management, therapeutic interventions, and community outreach.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journey.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients during critical situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Engage in data collection for clinical research purposes and contribute to program evaluation efforts.
- Offer guidance in home and community care settings, ensuring clients receive appropriate resources.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on behavioral health, addiction counseling, and PTSD care.
- Advocate for clients with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs within various settings.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Psychotherapy from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid licensure with the college of Social Workers or CRPO
- Experience working with children and families is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to document clinical interactions effectively.
- A valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00-$100.00 per hour
