Hi Temp products of Canada is seeking a dependable and motivated Production Labourer to join our manufacturing team in Edmonton. We manufacture high-temperature , welding blankets, welding curtains, heat shields, and custom industrial safety solutions for customers across the world.
As a Production Labourer, you will play an important role in supporting our production team by preparing materials, assisting with fabrication, maintaining an organized workspace, and ensuring our products meet Hi Temp's quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and is looking to build a career in manufacturing. Previous manufacturing experience is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, cutting, handling, and movement of insulation materials, fabrics, and other production components.
- Support production staff with assembling, packaging, and preparing finished products for shipment.
- Load, unload, and organize incoming materials and inventory.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations throughout the production facility.
- Operate basic hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment safely after training.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and report any concerns to supervisors.
- Follow production schedules and work efficiently to meet daily manufacturing goals.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory organization as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform general housekeeping duties and contribute to a safe, efficient workplace.
- Complete other general labour and production tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, fabrication, or general labour is considered an asset but is not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
