Job Overview
The Restoration Lead Technician serves as the on-site team leader for water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration projects. This role is responsible for directing field crews, executing mitigation and remediation tasks to industry standards, and ensuring project timelines, quality benchmarks, and customer satisfaction goals are consistently met. The Lead Technician is the primary point of contact between field operations and project management, and is expected to model professionalism, technical excellence, and safety at every job site.
Duties
This role is central to the delivery of our restoration and cleaning services. Core responsibilities include:
Service Delivery & Technical Work
- Effectively perform all cleaning, repair, and restoration services the company offers;
- Carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and deodorizing;
- Emergency water extraction, water mitgation, and structural drying;
- Carpet repair, bonnet cleaning, and specialty cleaning applications;
- Mold assessment, containment, and remediation procedures;
- Determine the correct sequence of steps when delivering services at the client’s property
- Inspect all completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards;
- Fire cleaning and remediation;
- Content processing and cleaning;
- Asbestos Worker/ Supervisor would be an added bonus;
- Rebuild/Carpentry/ Painting/Drywall/ Mud also considered an added bonus
Leadership & Team Supervision
- Supervise technicians in the performance of all company services on site;
- Assign specific tasks to technicians within a work crew based on capabilities and strengths;
- Provide hands-on training for technicians on company procedures, reporting, and service delivery;
- Plan and organize daily work actvites, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively;
- Lead by example with a strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail
Documentation & Communication
- Complete technician’s daily logs accurately and on time;
- Complete work orders and all appropriate restoration documentation;
- Document job sites with photos and detailed notes using company software and devices;
- Maintain timely and effective communication with management and office staff;
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients throughout the service process;
Equipment & Inventory
- Perform basic equipment maintenance to keep tools and machinery in working order;
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep company vehicles clean and organized;
- Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and materials;
- Assist with basic building maintenance at the shop as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in restoration services or related construction fields
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $52,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
