We are a busy, well-established automotive repair shop in Mississauga looking for a motivated 2nd Year Automotive Apprentice to join our team. What You'll Do
Working under the supervision of licensed technicians, you will:
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections.
- Assist with brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, and engine repairs.
- Learn diagnostic procedures using modern scan tools and equipment.
- Perform tire mounting and balancing.
- Complete vehicle inspections and report findings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures.
- Continue developing your technical skills through hands-on experience.
Qualifications
- Registered as a 2nd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice (310S) in Ontario.
- Previous experience working in an automotive repair shop.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence (preferred).
- Basic hand tools are an asset.
