Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist the dentist during procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations within our practice. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, and pediatric treatments.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Manage patient records accurately within electronic health records systems like Abeldent.
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks related to patient care as a dental receptionist when needed.
- Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit by providing compassionate support and addressing concerns.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including infection control procedures, to protect patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by state regulations. (NEW GRADS OR FOREIGN TRAINED DENTIST ARE WELCOME)
- Experience with dental software such as Abeldent
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates eager to learn new skills.

Pay: $27.00-$34.00 per hour
