Position Summary
Murray Chevrolet Cadillac Medicine Hat is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Internal Service Advisor to support our Service Department's daily operations. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Sales, Detail, Parts, and Service Departments, ensuring all internal vehicles are processed efficiently, repairs are completed on schedule, and communication remains seamless throughout the dealership.

Key Responsibilities
Internal Vehicle Coordination
Manage and coordinate all internal repair orders for new and used vehicle inventory.
Prioritize work according to dealership needs and vehicle delivery timelines.
Schedule inspections, maintenance, reconditioning, warranty repairs, and accessory installations.
Monitor vehicle status and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
Communication & Collaboration
Act as the primary point of contact between Service, Sales, Used Vehicle Operations, Parts, and Detail Departments.
Maintain clear communication regarding repair timelines, parts availability, and vehicle readiness.
Collaborate with technicians and department managers to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
Repair Order Administration
Create, update, and close repair orders accurately and efficiently.
Review repair recommendations and estimates, communicating with the sales managers for internal vehicles.
Ensure all documentation is complete and complies with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.
Monitor and track repair costs to support inventory management objectives.
Inventory & Process Management
Track vehicle reconditioning progress and maintain accurate records.
Assist in managing service scheduling to optimize shop efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance internal processes and turnaround times.
Maintain high standards of organization and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive service advising, dealership operations, or a related automotive role is considered an asset.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with dealership management systems and computer applications.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
