WHO WE ARE
Uncommon Cider Co. is Western Canada's first urban cidery. Our founder Brodie fell in love with full-juice cider in Cornwall, England, then came home to Calgary and started foraging neighbourhood apples to perfect his craft. That obsession with quality and local provenance is still the engine behind everything we make.
We are award-winning, boundary-pushing, and unapologetically community-rooted. Our delivery driver is not just moving product from A to B. They are the last touch point between our cidery and the retailers, restaurants, and markets that carry Uncommon. That matters to us.
IS THIS YOU?
This role fits a specific kind of person, and we want to be upfront about that.
The ideal Uncommon Delivery Driver looks something like this:
You take real pride in reliability. You show up on time, every time. You treat a delivery route the way a craftsperson treats their work — with attention, care, and a consistent standard. Missing a delivery window or leaving a keg pickup undone is not in your vocabulary.
You are comfortable working independently. Most of your day is you, the van, your route, and the radio. You do not need someone looking over your shoulder to stay organized and on track.
You genuinely like people. You are not just dropping boxes. You are walking into retailers, tap rooms, and market sites as the face of Uncommon Cider. A quick, professional, warm interaction at every stop builds the kind of trust that turns accounts into long-term partners.
And if you happen to love craft beverage, even better. You do not need to be a cider expert on day one, but enthusiasm for what we make goes a long way when someone at a delivery stop asks you what is new.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Founders, you are responsible for safely and efficiently moving Uncommon Cider product to retail and on-premise accounts, farmers markets, events, and direct customers across Calgary and surrounding areas.
This role starts as a three-day-per-week position and is designed to grow. We are a company in motion, and as our distribution volume increases, so does the need for more delivery capacity. The right person will have a clear path to a Monday through Friday full-time role as the business scales.
SCHEDULE & HOURS
Schedule & Hours
This is a part-time role anchored to Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, approximately 24 hours per week across three roughly 8-hour shifts. Hours expand with seasonal demand, particularly through our summer and fall market season, so flexibility matters.
Path to Full-Time: As Uncommon grows, so does this role. Our intention is for the right driver to move to a Monday through Friday full-time schedule as delivery volume justifies it. We want someone who is thinking about that trajectory from the start.
Some weekend and occasional evening availability may be required during peak periods. We will always give as much notice as possible when needs change.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Delivery & Customer Service
- Safely load, transport, and deliver product using company vehicles, following the most efficient route for each day's schedule

- Follow all company procedures for product handling, storage, and returns
Vehicle & Compliance
- Conduct a pre-shift vehicle inspection before every run and report any issues immediately
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in working order at all times
