We are expanding our Early Literacy Program and are looking for an experienced educator who is passionate about helping young learners develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication.

About the Role
This position focuses primarily on students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.
Teaching responsibilities may include:
- Phonics instruction
- Guided Reading
- Reading Fluency
- Reading Comprehension
- Vocabulary Development
- Early Writing
- Creative Writing
- Elementary English
- Small-group literacy classes
- Individualized literacy support
Our goal is to help students build strong reading habits, develop confident communication skills, and establish a solid academic foundation for future learning.
Responsibilities
As an Early Literacy & Reading Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging literacy lessons appropriate for different learning levels
- Teach phonics using systematic, evidence-based instructional approaches
- Support students in reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, and language development
- Monitor each student's progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Create a positive, encouraging, and student-centered classroom environment
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress
- Prepare lesson materials and contribute to curriculum resources
- Collaborate with other teachers to continuously improve our literacy programs
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum three years of teaching experience with young learners
- Experience teaching Phonics and early literacy
- Strong understanding of reading development and elementary English education
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Outstanding communication and classroom management skills
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic teaching style
- A genuine passion for helping children become confident readers
Experience in Montessori education, Reading Intervention, Guided Reading, or other literacy-focused programs will be considered a strong asset.

Compensation is based on teaching experience, qualifications, demonstrated teaching ability, and assigned responsibilities. Exceptional candidates with extensive experience or program leadership expertise may be considered for alternative compensation arrangements.
