Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Child Care Team Leader to oversee daily activities within our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, strong leadership skills, and experience in caregiving and teaching. This role offers an opportunity to positively impact children's development while fostering a supportive and engaging environment for both children and staff.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of childcare providers to ensure high-quality care and educational activities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and social development
- Monitor children's behavior, provide guidance, and address individual needs, including working with children with disabilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, routines, and any concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Support staff training and professional development to enhance caregiving and teaching skills
Requirements
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Strong background in caregiving, teaching, or working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive environment that encourages learning and development
- Certification in CPR/First Aid preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification if necessary
- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering positive developmental experiences
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
