Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for food preparation and presentation. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and inspire your team to achieve culinary excellence.
Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes that meet restaurant standards
- Develop and update menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative culinary techniques and customer preferences
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to optimize kitchen operations
- Train new staff members on food preparation, safety protocols, and service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Knowledge of restaurant management practices, including inventory control and cost management
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry is essential
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
