Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance to support continuous production and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Conduct inspections, adjustments, and minor building maintenance.
* Repair or replace control devices, switches, sensors, motors, and contactors.
* Maintain maintenance records and ensure work orders are completed accurately.
* Support production by minimizing equipment downtime.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
✔ 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
✔ Technical training in Mechanical/Electrical fields or Licensed Millwright (433A) is an asset.
✔ Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical schematics.
✔ Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
✔ Good communication and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
✔ Forklift, Working at Heights, and Skyjack certification are considered assets.
Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour
