Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role requires you to have your Responsible Adult Certificate, ECE Assistant Certificate or ECE Certificate. This position is a split shift, 7:30am-9:00am and 2:45pm-5:15pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the health and welfare of the children in the program with active supervision.
- Greeting parents and children upon arrival.
- Supervising the children while they eat.
- Escorting the children to and from school safely and on time.
- Providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve programs.
Skills
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Proven experience working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and effective communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
