Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant General Manager - Operations to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing staff, budgets, and service standards. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster a positive team environment, and uphold the high standards of hospitality that define our brand.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk management, guest services, and human resources functions
- Supervise staff performance, providing coaching and training to ensure top-tier customer service and adherence to hotel policies
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with departments to maintain efficient workflows, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services
- Assist in budgeting processes, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure effective communication across all channels
- Support recruitment efforts by supervising onboarding processes and staff development initiatives
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality industry or hotel operations
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a passion for team development and operational excellence
- Familiarity with front desk operations, and hotel standards is preferred
- Must have a valid drivers class 5 license ( pickup new staff in Jasper, AB
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments will be considered an asset
