Overview
WMB Holdings has been a trusted leader in the feed industry for over 30 years, delivering quality products throughout Atlantic Canada. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our dispatch team in the role of Dispatch Support.
The Dispatch Support will serve as a key communication link between the dispatch department, drivers, and finance department, ensuring drivers are paid in a timely manner and invoices are processed. This role is posed to grow with more tasks related to finance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, finance and management teams via email and in person.
- Process daily time sheets
- Verify all parts of the order is correct and inputted into TMS software.
- Ensure all required information is forwarded to the finance department for payroll and invoicing.
- Understanding and being a part of the dispatch team to be able to fill in during any absences.
- Organize and maintain both electronic and paper records including filing.
- Assist team members with reports as needed.
- Rotational On Call schedule for after hours communication with drivers
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem solving skills are an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in a transportation industry role, data entry or dispatch positions would be considered an asset.
- Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Competitive Wages $39,520 to $47,840 Annual Salary with compensation for on-call
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with rotational on call for after hours issues
