Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, etc ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs using various techniques and tools
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with additional food prep or cleaning tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Strong skills in food industry techniques such as baking, cooking, packaging, and food presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience including food handling and preparation is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends or holidays if needed
- A passion for baking, culinary arts, and creating visually appealing desserts is essential
