Job Summary
Salon Dain is a premium hair salon located in the luxury district of Forest Hill, specializing in colour, extensions, cutting. The salon is actively expanding its client base. This position is structured for a Junior Stylist invested in long-term professional development and growing alongside the business. the high-demand luxury location provides the infrastructure to build a new client roster.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional shampoo and conditioning services.
- Assist senior stylists with chemical applications, blow-drying, and general salon operations.
- Execute cutting, colouring, styling, and extension services.
- Conduct client consultations and recommend professional home-care products.
- Produce hairstyling content for social media platforms.
- Maintain workstation hygiene and an organized salon environment.
- Execute front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, payment processing, and inventory monitoring.
Experience
- 3+ years of hairstyling experience with a verified portfolio.
- Technical proficiency in cutting, colouring, and styling.
- Demonstrated commitment to long-term career growth within the company.
- Proficiency with social media content creation.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to operate in a collaborative, respectful, and gossip-free team structure.
Compensation
Hourly or Commission (Based on experience and skill) + Tips
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
