Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our restaurant standards, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage spaces
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
- Serve dishes promptly and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold safety regulations and quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments within the food industry is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Experience with meal preparation, serving, and general kitchen operations will help ensure success in this role
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
