The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of Lloyd Restaurant, the Bar, the M Club Lounge, and Room Service. The incumbent is committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience while ensuring team performance, service excellence, and operational profitability.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience at all times.
- Ensure compliance with service standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise front-of-house teams.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve complaints effectively.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage team productivity.
- Review and approve payroll while monitoring employee performance.
- Ensure the smooth execution of daily operations.
- Coordinate activities with other hotel departments to optimize service delivery.
- Manage inventory levels and oversee stock control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety standards.
- Develop and implement promotional initiatives and business activation strategies.
- Participate in management meetings and support the operational execution of the hotel's strategic vision.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain operational standards and service excellence.
- Ensure the restaurant and related service areas are well maintained and properly presented.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Guest-focused mindset with a passion for service excellence.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of beverages, wines, and bar operations.
- Proficiency in computer systems (MICROS Simphony experience is considered an asset).
- 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience.
- Experience in an upscale hotel environment is considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team-oriented approach.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Two (2) weeks of vacation.
