We're Hiring: Class 1 Gravel Truck Driver & Subcontract Drivers
Join our team in the Drayton Valley area! We're currently looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 Gravel Truck Drivers, as well as subcontract Drivers, to support our seasonal hauling operations. Location: Drayton Valley Area
Job Type: Seasonal (Contract Length: 4 months)
Pay: $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On-call
- Weekends as needed
- Work Location: In person
We're Hiring:
- Company Drivers (Class 1 License)
- Subcontract Driver (Gravel hauling experience preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 gravel trucks (end dump, belly dump, etc.)
- Haul materials such as gravel, sand, and aggregates to and from job sites
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with transportation regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch and team members for efficient deliveries
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License (for company drivers)
- Subcontractors must provide proof of insurance, WCB coverage, and a reliable truck
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Experience in gravel hauling preferred
- Strong reliability and communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as required
