Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:
- Designing and executing seasonal menus and feature dishes that complement a wine-forward, tapas-style concept.
- Leading day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency during service.
- Overseeing food preparation and plating with a strong eye for detail and presentation.
- Hiring, training, mentoring, and scheduling a cohesive and motivated kitchen team.
- Managing inventory, ordering, and food costs to align with budget targets.
- Collaborating closely with the management team to maintain a unified, guest-first culture.
- Jumping in wherever needed to support the team and ensure smooth service.
Education:
- Formal culinary training or completion of a recognized culinary program is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
Skills:
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume service environments while maintaining composure and quality.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a cohesive kitchen team.
- Brings a highly collaborative approach, working seamlessly with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Base Salary: $45k-55k per year
- Salary based on experience.
- Performance-based bonus eligibility.

Work Hours:
- Full-time hours.
- Flexibility required, including evenings and weekends.
