The Manitoba Club is looking for a full-time Pastry Assistant to join our culinary team. Working closely with our Pastry Chef, this role supports the daily preparation and decorating of desserts served in our dining spaces and at events.
This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about pastry who enjoys working in a professional kitchen and contributing to memorable dining experiences for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Pastry Chef with preparation of dessert components for à la carte service
- Plate desserts for service
- Bake and decorate desserts for takeout orders and buffet events
- Prepare house-made ice creams and sorbets
- Bake macarons, cookies, brioche and other pastries
- Support dessert preparation for corporate events, private functions and weddings
Schedule
- 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (or as required)

Qualifications
- Previous pastry experience required
- Culinary or pastry-focused education required
