Wilkare Tooling is currently hiring a Tool & Die Maker to join our team. Licensed Tool and Die Makers and Apprentices are encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow the prioritized list of all tooling activities, engineering changes, new die builds and continuous improvements.
- Work safely following legislated and Wilkare safety rules and practices to support and encourage health and safety.
- Support open communications between all departments emphasizing a team approach
DUTIES
- Build dies, spare components, jigs and fixtures.
- Troubleshooting new tooling during development and die tryout.
- Provide suggestions for quotations or new tooling and engineering changes.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for dies and processes.
- Ensure documentation and reporting of repairs and costing is accurate and complete for the jobs you are assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Certified Tool and Die maker or apprentice program
- Extensive experience preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and building of new tooling.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
