Who we are
You know those big cities that still feel like small towns? Where everyone’s friendly and helps each other out? That’s like Doane Grant Thornton. Except here we’re all professionals and there isn’t a mayor or a general store. What we’re trying to say is that we’re a large and growing professional services firm that still feels like a community. We employ about 3000 people across Canada, and we truly care about our colleagues, our clients and the communities where we work and live. That’s what’s most important to us. We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.

Own the enterprise portfolio of AI adoption initiatives, including intake, prioritization, tracking, governance alignment, and value realization.
- Develop Tools: Create toolkits, playbooks, and best practices for AI adoption.
- Market Insights & Emerging Trends: Monitor emerging AI tools, market trends, and enablement models relevant to the Firm. Translate insight into practical recommendations on experimentation, implementation framework design, and partnership opportunities.
- AI Driven Business Impact: Create and operationalize frameworks to identify, prioritize and measure high-impact use cases across all functions and departments. Partner with cross‑functional teams to enable and scale AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

- AI Capability Building: Working closely with cross-functional partners, drive adoption of AI tools, improvements in AI literacy, and support structured experimentation.
- Adoption & Reporting: Track and report AI adoption and usage metrics, training progress, and business impact.
- Process & Implementation Framework Redesign: Reimagine processes to sustainably embed AI and improve productivity, quality, and decision making.
- Executive Partnership & Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, facilitating structured discussions and trade off decisions. Demonstrates strong influencing skills across senior leadership, technical teams, and operational stakeholders.
