Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong commitment to food safety standards. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required; we value reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following proper food safety protocols
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff
- Support food service operations by helping with basic food prep and ingredient organization
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen work area, including counters, floors, and storage spaces
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to throughout daily operations
- Assist with restocking supplies and organizing kitchen storage areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow during busy periods
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cooking, restaurant work, or food service is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of meal preparation, food prep, and kitchen operations
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food industry standards and safety protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
