As part of the HR Centralized Support team, the HR Support Coordinator delivers high-volume administrative support across the employee lifecycle. The role focuses on accurate, timely HR transactions, documentation, and system updates, aligned with established processes and standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, detail-oriented work and takes pride in accuracy and consistency. You will collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Managers, and other HR teams to support hiring, onboarding, employee changes, and day-to-day operations.
Work Location: Acheson, AB
Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 annually
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (up to 2 days remote per week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
What You'll Do
- Coordinate candidate pre-employment activities, including testing, offer letters, onboarding documentation, and pre-boarding
- Process employee lifecycle transactions (hires, transfers, leaves, terminations) in HR systems
- Review requests for accuracy and follow up on missing or inconsistent information
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy for payroll, benefits, and reporting
- Prepare HR documentation (employment letters, employee files) in line with retention standards
- Respond to initial inquiries from employees and leaders on HR policies, processes, and systems, and escalate as needed
- Troubleshoot basic HR system issues and escalate as needed
- Conduct data audits and support reporting to maintain data integrity
- Support HR programs and pre-employment processes (e.g., onboarding requirements, tracking)
- Contribute to process improvements and HR initiatives
What You Bring
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 2 years of HR administrative experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG)
- Proven attention to detail and ability to validate data and documentation
- Customer-focused with effective communication and collaboration skills
