Overview
We are seeking skilled and dependable Framers and Framing Helpers to join our construction team. These roles involve working on mostly residential with a focus on building and installing structures using a variety of tools and techniques. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Experience with blueprint reading, concrete forming, and carpentry is highly valued but we are willing to train the right person. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their construction skills and advancing within the industry.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate framing and installation
- Construct, install, and repair wood frameworks for buildings, siding, and other structures using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and related restoration tasks as needed.
- Measure dimensions accurately to cut and assemble framing components.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials up to 50 pounds or more while maintaining safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and working outdoors.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or on scaffolding as needed
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction environments
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
