McDonald’s Restaurant Manager – Job Description
At McDonald’s, our Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a McDonald’s restaurant. This includes managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and making sure that all safety and cleanliness standards are met. They are responsible for training and developing staff, resolving customer complaints, and implementing plans that drive sales and guest count growth. Restaurant Managers must have strong leadership and communication skills in order to effectively manage their team and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.
Restaurant Manager - Job Duties

Lead and motivate a team of employees to ensure customer satisfaction, quality product delivery, and operational excellence

Ensure all McDonald’s policies and procedures are followed in accordance with company standards

Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, monitoring inventory levels, leading Department Managers
-
Monitor employee performance and provide feedback on areas for improvement
-
Overseeing the hiring and training of new hires and existing staff on proper food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service best practices
-
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
-
Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner
-
Ensure proper cash handling and management practices are completed by all Managers.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability including community outreach and activation

Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
-
Create weekly reports detailing sales figures, labor costs, and other key metrics
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years leading teams in quick service or related customer service facing role

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to direct and lead a team
- Ability to resolve conflict Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- A valid driver’s license and available automobile to get to and from work location.
Compensation
-
Starting salary of $60,000 to $75,000 annually depending on experience/skill set
-
Monthly car and cell phone allowance

Eligible for company health care benefits program

Eligible for company bonus program

3+ weeks paid vacation depending on experience
