Job Overview :
Rodren Drilling Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our Maintenance Shop team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We’re seeking someone with a strong mechanical background with a vast set of mechanical skills, ideally from the mining, drilling, or heavy-duty equipment.
Responsibilities:
· Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on drilling rigs, ATV’s, snowmobiles, and heavy-duty equipment.
· Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on drilling and support equipment
· Travel to field sites as needed to perform repairs.
· Maintain accurate service records and uphold safety standards at all times
· Regular work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. plus additional travel time to job sites as required.
· Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism and take pride in the quality of every repair.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Previous Mechanical experience working with heavy-duty, mining, or drilling equipmentwith a minimum of 4 years of experience.
· Hydraulic system experience is a strong asset.
· Previous Field experience is a strong asset.
· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Willingness to travel to remote job sites when required.
· Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
Salary and Benefits:
· $30 - $45/hr depending on experience.
