We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented

What You'll Do
As an Apprenticeship Coordinator, you'll work closely with our Apprenticeship Specialists to help deliver exceptional service to apprentices and employers across Ontario. You'll play a key role in keeping our Group Sponsor Program running smoothly while supporting strategic initiatives that continue to grow and strengthen the program.
Your work may include:
- Supporting Apprenticeship Specialists with their assigned strategic portfolios, such as apprentice success, wrap-around supports, OYAP, employer engagement, assessments, events, government reporting, or other workforce development initiatives.
- Coordinating apprentice registrations, documentation, and onboarding activities.
- Maintaining accurate apprentice and employer records across multiple systems.
- Tracking apprentice progression, levelled schooling, training hours, certification milestones, and employer information.
- Following up with apprentices and employers to ensure important deadlines and program requirements are met.
- Assisting with reporting, compliance, meetings, events, and special projects.
- Collaborating with Skilled Trades Ontario, educational institutions, employers, and the Merit Ontario team to provide an outstanding client experience.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and helping others succeed.
You bring:
- 1-3 years of experience in administration, program coordination, customer service, education, workforce development, or a related field.
- Outstanding organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), digital systems, and AI tools.
- Experience with Ontario's apprenticeship system is an asset but not required.

Working Conditions
- Hybrid work environment (3 days in the Mississauga office, 2 days remote)
- Monday to Friday with flexible working hours
- Occasional evening and weekend work for events
- Some travel within Ontario may be required
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable transportation required

COMPENSATION
- Salary: $50,000 to $65,000 (based on experience)
