Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable person to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, concrete finishing, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects including siding, framing, woodworking. This will play a vital part in delivering high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct woodworking tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Assist in the setup and teardown of construction sites while maintaining a clean work environment
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure worksite for all team members
Requirements
- Experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, concrete work, or restoration projects
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Experience with siding installation and woodworking is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
