Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle for local deliveries and pickups.
- Complete daily local routes and return home after each shift.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure freight is transported safely and delivered on time.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and delivery updates.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
- Clean driving abstract.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
