Position Summary
As the Estimating Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting our estimating team, estimating coordination between the internal estimating and project teams as well as external clients and subcontractors, and project administration.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Estimating support for the construction and service departments
- Support with sending, receiving, analyzing, and organizing drawings, master specifications, and tender information
- Understand contractual terms and conditions during tender process
- Assist with preparing estimates and tendering
- Support and maintain the directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Support communication with consultants, engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors
- Work closely with the estimating team and coordinate with the construction project management team, administration, and the maintenance service arm of the company
- Act as an administrative support to coordinate estimating between clients and subcontractors
- Assist with project start up, organization, and supporting project team with administrative tasks
- Assist with the assembly, submission, tracking, and collection of RFI’s, purchase orders, change orders, and project archiving
- Work with Procore Construction Management Software on a daily basis
- Work with various client project management and tendering systems
Knowledge & Skills
· Computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Procore, Google, etc.
· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail
· Proactive and willingness to explore new ideas and approach challenges with creativity and innovation
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Adapt in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple responsibilities
· Able to manage a variety of tasks and respond to changing priorities with flexibility and efficiency
· A team player that can work both independently and collaboratively
· Experience in estimating, co-ordinating and managing projects preferred
· Understands estimating civil, earthworks, base building projects preferred
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
