Robert Half is partnering with a valued client to find an experienced Accounting Manager / Supervisor to lead key accounting operations and support the financial health of the organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a hands-on approach to managing month-end close, financial reporting, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee general accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close
Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
Supervise daily activities of accounting staff and provide coaching and development
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures
Manage account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
Partner with leadership on financial analysis and operational improvements
Assist with system enhancements and process optimization initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
Prior experience in a manager or supervisor-level accounting role preferred
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and internal controls
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
