Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our facilities, ensuring that all areas are safe, clean, and well-kept. This role requires a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail, particularly in landscape maintenance and garden upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the grounds are well-groomed and aesthetically pleasing.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance projects.
- Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to promote healthy plant growth.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Assist in landscape maintenance, including planting, trimming, and weeding as necessary.
- Maintain equipment used for gardening and landscaping, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance or landscaping roles is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of garden care techniques, including irrigation methods and landscape maintenance practices.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues before they become problems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving equipment or materials.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to maintenance work.
