Position Overview:
We are currently hiring an experienced Rakerman to join our paving crew. This role is critical to achieving smooth, consistent, and professional asphalt finishes. You’ll work closely with the paver operator, foreman, and rest of the crew to deliver top-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Rake and lute freshly laid asphalt to ensure proper compaction and finish
- Maintain grade and proper mat appearance along edges and joints
- Assist with setup and cleanup of the job site
- Communicate effectively with the paving crew and foreman
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in asphalt paving as a rakerman
- Strong understanding of paving operations and site safety
- Physically fit and able to work long hours in outdoor conditions
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Must have reliable transportation
- Safety tickets (CSTS, First Aid) are considered an asset
Compensation:
- Competitive wages based on experience
- Starting Wage $32 +
