Pizzeria Badiali, is seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as a Dough Maker in our commissary. If you have a passion for creating delicious dough, sauces, and perfectly prepped ingredients, we invite you to be a part of our culinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality pizza dough, following established recipes and techniques, ensuring consistency and adherence to our signature taste.
- Conduct vegetable and ingredient preparation.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients, notifying the supervisor of any shortages, and contributing to order placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of prep tasks.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of food products.
- Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items, sharing creative ideas and suggestions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or pizzeria.
- Strong knowledge and experience in dough production, with the ability to consistently create a perfect pizza dough.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all food preparation.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to lift 55 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
