Overview
We are hiring a DZ Driver to join our team in Hamilton. In this role, you will safely transport goods, complete scheduled deliveries, and perform routine vehicle inspections. This position requires operating a 5-ton straight truck, loading and unloading materials, and following established routes and safety procedures.

Schedule
Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-owned 5-ton straight truck.
- Deliver goods to customer locations according to scheduled routes.
- Load and unload materials using safe lifting and handling practices.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery updates or delays.
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid Ontario DZ driver's licence.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Experience operating a 5-ton straight truck.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required for the position.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred
- Previous delivery or transportation experience.
- Knowledge of local and regional routes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
