Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas
- Support the team during busy service hours by providing timely and efficient food service
- Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and kitchen operations
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry best practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
- Kitchen experience in a restaurant or similar setting is highly desirable
