We are seeking caring and dedicated Respite Workers to provide part-time in-home support for families with young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing childcare, and ideally with providing respite care for children with special needs.
As an organization we provide part-time support in homes with young children, generally under the age of six. We provide a wide range of care, from support for families with newborns, to respite support for children with special needs.
Four hour minimum shift with longer shifts available.
Currently hiring with a focus on caregivers with strong backgrounds in providing respite care for children and youth.
A reliable vehicle is necessary in order to do this job as many of our families live in suburban areas that are difficult to reach by transit.
A current security clearance to work with members of the vulnerable sector, as well as first aid and an infant/child CPR course are required.
