Job Summary
Busy manfuacturer requires a dedicated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Coordinator to oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance within thier manufacturing facility.
Duties
- Assist in implementation, and maintain health and safety policies tailored to manufacturing operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the facility to identify potential hazards.
- Support incident investigations and ensure proper documentation and corrective actions are taken.
- Coordinate safety training sessions for employees, including onboarding and ongoing development programs.
- Collaborate with management to establish safety goals and monitor progress toward achieving them.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Promote safety awareness through meetings, signage, and communication campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, incidents, and corrective measures.
- Assist in emergency preparedness planning and response procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of industrial safety practices.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards applicable to manufacturing facilities.
- Experience in training with the ability to deliver engaging safety training sessions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for conducting inspections and maintaining records.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively promote safety initiatives across teams.
- Ability to analyze risks, develop mitigation strategies, and foster a culture of safety compliance.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or 40-Hour Training preferred.
- A proactive approach toward problem-solving and continuous improvement in workplace safety practices. #STIND
Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
