Work Available: Full-time subcontract opportunities 2+ Poly B replacement projects per week
About Urban Piping Ltd.
Urban Piping Ltd. is Canada’s leading Poly B replacement company, completing thousands of residential repiping projects throughout Western Canada. Our marketing, systems, and reputation generate a constant stream of qualified homeowners, allowing our subcontractors to focus on what they do best—plumbing.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking to partner with additional professional plumbing companies capable of handling 2–3 complete residential repipes per week.
We currently have the demand to add approximately 18 additional projects per week to our subcontractor network.
What We Pay
We pay $128 per plumbing fixture.
Most homes contain 15–20 fixtures, meaning typical projects range from approximately:
- 15 Fixtures = $1,920
- 18 Fixtures = $2,304
- 20 Fixtures = $2,560
Many homes also include additional paid work such as:
- Shower valve replacements
- Hose bib replacements
- Water softeners
- Additional plumbing upgrades
- Other approved extras
Our pricing is straightforward and transparent so you always know exactly what you’ll earn before starting a project.
What We Provide
Urban Piping supplies everything needed for the project except your hand tools.
We provide:
- All plumbing materials
- PEX pipe and fittings
- Valves and specialty materials
- Supplies delivered and staged at each job site
- Scheduling
- Customer communication
- Marketing
- Estimating
- Project management support
You simply arrive, complete the plumbing, and move on to your next project.
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Completing residential Poly B replacement projects to Urban Piping standards
- Performing clean, professional workmanship
- Pulling the required plumbing permit for every project
- Coordinating inspections where required
- Maintaining excellent customer service
- Keeping job sites clean and organized
- Completing projects within our quality and scheduling expectations
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Journeyman Plumber Certification
- Active plumbing business
- Valid business licence
- Current WCB coverage
- Commercial liability insurance
- Ability to pull plumbing permits under your own credentials
- Reliable vehicle and professional tools
- Residential plumbing experience
- Strong communication skills
- Professional references
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for established subcontractors who want consistent work without the stress of finding customers.
Ideal partners are capable of completing 2–3 ( or more if capable)residential repipes per week while maintaining excellent workmanship and customer service.
If your company has multiple plumbers and greater capacity, we have enough work available to keep additional crews busy as well.
