Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and analysis skills to effectively promote our products and services. The Account Manager will play a critical role in expanding our customer portfolio through outside sales and marketing initiatives.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities
- Generate leads and follow up with prospective clients
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Perform sales administration tasks including preparing proposals, contracts, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to tailor sales strategies effectively
- Collaborate with sales and management to develop promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility
- Utilize strong communication skills to negotiate deals and close sales effectively
- Support sales initiatives where applicable, providing customers with relevant product information
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings and industry developments
Experience
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within flooring, construction or distribution
- Strong background in customer service, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate ability to conduct effective sales and outreach campaigns
- Proficiency in analysis skills for market research and customer needs assessment
- Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and presentation abilities
- Experience with sales administration tools and CRM software is a plus
