Job Details
The City of St. Albert is recruiting individuals to join our Recreation & Parks department as Group Fitness Instructors to lead various group classes.
Qualifications

1 or more of the following certifications is required: Fitness Alberta, Water Art, CanFitPro, Zumba, or 200‑ or 500‑hour Yoga certification, but not limited to, as other equivalent or related certifications may be considered.

Current Standard First Aid Certification.

Preference will be given to those with prior instruction experience.

Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who have good leadership and teaching abilities.
Hours of Work
Hours of work are determined by class times, which take place during operational hours of 5:30 - 9:30.
Compensation
The wage ranges from $30 - $70 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
A separate wage range will apply for the following positions such as:

Group Fitness Fitness Instructor $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Specialty Fitness Instructor $30-$55 per hour

Zumba Instructor $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
