Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and experienced Server and Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in food service and customer care, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with POS systems, Micros POS, and food safety standards is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of food and beverage transactions
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Prepare and garnish beverages as per standard recipes, including cocktails and non-alcoholic options
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality
- Uphold sanitation protocols, including proper food handling and maintaining a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless restaurant operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred; hospitality or food industry background is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling purposes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
