We are seeking a personable and professional individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Retail Associate. The position involves engaging with clients at the front desk, assisting with retail sales, and supporting salon operations to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures at the front desk
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and scheduling appointments
- Assist clients with hair styling consultations and recommend suitable services or products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the salon to ensure a safe environment
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Support barbershop staff with daily operations, including organizing retail displays and inventory management
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth salon flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, or front desk roles is preferred
- Knowledge of barbering techniques or experience in a salon environment is a plus
- Strong communication skills with an ability to connect with diverse clients
- Ability to maintain high sanitation standards in a beauty or retail setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to upsell products tactfully while prioritizing client needs
- Reliable, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in hair styling or beauty industry is advantageous but not required
